There is a fine grid of electromagnetic wires in the bord which exactly defines the place of your mouse or drawing in combination with the associated digital pen.

Check if you connected the chargecable to the USB-port of your laptop or PC. PC's with the operatingsystem XP and Vista disconnect the USB-port after a certain time. Therefore the charging of your rechargeable pen stops. We have made a guide to remedy this.

Another solution is an external USB-charger. Just plug it in and your pen will be recharged. For more information about the external USB-charger please contact your supplier.

The core issue of the problem is in Vista's Security Policies.
In order to use the OSK, the following changes are required.

1. Go to the Control Panel
2. Select-> User Accounts
3. Select-> Turn User Account Control on or off
4. Uncheck-> Use User Account(UAC) to help protect your computer
5. Click-> Ok
6. Restart the computer
